My husband and I had waited years for our first trip to Europe. When I walked in to Great Escapes Travel, there sat Greg King. I liked him instantly. For two inexperienced travelers wanting to go abroad, we could not have been more fortunate in meeting Greg to make our plans happen. We wanted to spend 8 days in Paris. Greg did it all. He went above and beyond. Our luxurious century old balconied suite with 4 rooms, our private guides who were exceptional, professional, and personable, our unrushed and emotional day in Normandy- our memories are sterling without one hiccup. Because of Greg, we had not one worry. The baggage pickup and private transportation from and to airport and hotel went flawlessly. We saw every single site on our dream list plus many extra unplanned outings with a lot of down time included. I would not change a thing. We are already planning next year’s trip and we would not consider doing so without our friend Greg King. Thank you Greg, for everything you did for us!

We have traveled extensively and cruised since 1964 either making our own arrangement, or through WEB based agencies, or through various brick and mortar travel agencies locally and across the country. Our experience with arrangements through WEB based agencies and other brick and mortar agencies has been spotty at best until we discovered Great Escapes Travel. The service we have received over several years has been very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and most rewarding. With our almost 50 years of cruising experience we have found Great Escapes to be the very best and are using them to make all our future cruise arrangements. While we are almost 1,000 miles apart, with the personal service from Peggy Applebee and Phyllis Dale and using e-mail and telephone it is like having our own travel agent next door. It is a true five star experience. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.
