Beyond the best salon in oakland county. Mirela is literally a hair magician. She never disappoints. I will not trust anyone else with my hair. She really cares about her quality of work and makes sure you leave happy.

I have had the pleasure to meet Mirela and her husband who own the Salon and I have to say I'm honored to have my hair done by Mirela who has been featured in NYC Bridal Fashion week, Love her work and thank you again for making me feel comfortable doing something different. I live in Jax Florida went to visit in Michigan for a wedding, she was highly reccomended by my sister, I feel very lucky and privileged to have found such an amazing Artist to do my hairstyle ! She did an absolutely amazing modern work of art , she knew excactly what I wanted and a perfect hairstyle , Mirela you are a true Artist , you are so amazing , everyone attending the wedding was a WOW amazed about how gorgeous my hair looks. You will never find anyone better that would understand what you want, she is very polite, and very proffesional , you are absolutely the best hair designer in Michigan ! So happy found this Salon on Detroit A List which they were runner up for first place and read the reviews about the Salon and Mirela who sis the owner, I was so impressed about Mirela so I made my appointment and I have to say this Salon and her service is first class with out breaking the bank. I'm one not to leave reviews but had to leave one for this salon, I like to thank Mirela for giving me a first class experience, I moved to Oakland Township 2 months ago and needed a new stylist that was closer, i use to go to trendy hair salon in Royal Oak when I lived in Birmingham and with my busy schedule wanted to find one closer to my new home. I was searching the net and was about to to go to Glistz and found Salon Blue and checked Mirela out on Facebook and was impressed so I took the chance.



I have to say I'm so glad i did. She is a sweet, humble and talented stylist, she made me feel comfortable and knew what I wanted and took her time to explain to me and give me advise on my hair, and I trusted her to do a new look on me and I'm so pleased with the results.



Mirela you and your staff and your Salon decor is first class! I'm so happy I met you and your husband, and I have to say I was very impressed with the salon decor of your salon as if I was in a Royal Oak or Birmingham Salon. I also like to thank you for the wine service you offered, as for that day was such a bad day I really needed to unwind and thank you again Mirela for making it a wonderful experience for me.



You have me and my family for life and my husband is even picker then me and he loves his hair cut as my son does as well. I will see you in 6 weeks and for those who want a real hair salon I definitely recommend this place for the ambiance and the experience, for those who do not want to pay the high end salon prices but want to feel the experience of on, then go here. Make sure you request Mirela she is a co-owner with her husband and they are the such wonderful people.

I have to say i was honored to have Mirela work on my hair before Christmas which I have to add the other wanna be hair salon in the area ruined and was rude about it. and still charged me $190.00!!!!! I was refereed to her by a waitress at Sagebrush so I called her and went to see Mirela and THANK YOU JESUS that we have a real hair salon in the area. Ladies go in and see her once you meet her she this beautiful girl from Albania and stylish and so down to earth, believe me you will want her to do your hair once you see her. Mirela will see you in 6 weeks and sorry about the late review.

I have to say Mirela is a true artist at what she does, she took me in at 8am when the other Salon in the area would not accommodate to my needs because they would not open that early. I'm new in the area so when I found Salon Blue i called and her husband told me it would not be a problem to come in and talked to Mirela and made me feel at ease. I would recommend any one to go and see her and get celebrity service at a great price. I'm so happy I no longer have to go to Royal Oak to get my hair done and pay $200 and over as I use to. Mirela you are a great artist and we are blessed to have you in the Lake Orion area. Thank you again love!!

I found salon blue by a friend of mine and she ranted and raved about Mirela who is also a co owner. I went in for the cut and color with high lights and low lights and I had another salon locally do it and was not happy with the results till i sat in Mirela chair. She was able to correct the problem and then turn my hair to exactly what I wanted.

I recommend this salon for the pricing and the modern look and Mirela who i just found out is featured in many national magazines and voted best hair color and bridal salon.

I am fairly new to the area, and was looking for a modern salon, with fair prices. I am very particular about my hair, and trusting a new stylist. I searched for salons in the area and found a newly opened salon, Salon Blue, and called right away. I spoke with the owner, Mirela, who was very nice. I had a good gut feeling so I instantly made an appointment. When I arrived I noticed right away how very new and modern the salon was; very nice décor and an inviting open space - exactly what I was looking for. Mirela and her staff were welcoming and professional, and even offered me coffee. :)



Now I have to say I am very picky about my hair and how it's maintained. Right away I felt comfortable. Mirela took the time to ask me what I wanted, listened to me, and studied the pictures I brought to her as examples. She talked me through what she recommended on treating my hair, and we discussed and decided together what would look best.



Mirela did a fabulous job on my hair - it was EXACTLY what I wanted. She talked to me about everything she was doing and why, and even talked about steps in taking to bring my hair back to a healthy state again. I also loved that I received an email confirmation about my appointment, as well as a thank you email afterwards - that's a nice touch. I recommend Salon Blue to anyone who is new to the area, anyone who is looking for a new stylist, or anyone who just wants a change. Her service and prices are excellent - Salon Blue has found a new permanent client in me! :)
