We placed an order for various items 5/27/14. The estimated delivery on the receipt is 3-4 weeks. When I heard nothing from F&S, I contacted them. They indicated the delivery would be the Friday of the July 4th weekend or the following. They didn't deliver. Every week they gave me one or two new delivery dates, but did not deliver. On 8/16/14, they made a partial delivery. Then, the weekly promises and excuses started, again. I cancelled the balance of the order and demanded a refund at the end of August. F&S refused. I contacted Ashley Furniture, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and my credit card company. Ashley claimed that F&S is no longer their customer. The BBB made efforts, but it didn't produce a credit for us. In the end my credit card company was able to gain us the credit via their dispute resolution process. That took about a couple months. One of our dining room chairs received on 8/16 had two defects. They have not delivered the replacement. In the process, I think our shipment was "split" over 8 times and a manifest changed. I don't think manifests change and if we're told our order is on the truck, it's on the truck. What, was Ashley loading our order on a truck over and over, just to take it off every time? I think not. Very dishonest.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! the guy (Terrence) we ordered with said that our couch would deliver 0-3 weeks after purchase. well, almost 6 weeks later, they have given us EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK to NOT deliver the couch (upcoming holiday, Terrence no longer works for the company because he lied to his customers, they only have 2 out of the 3-piece sectional we ordered, then they lost the sectional, the manufacturer doesn't know if they have any available, etc...), and the best part is that the excuse changes EVERY SINGLE TIME WE SPEAK TO KEITH! we had to place a dispute with our credit card company to get our money back. when we informed the owner/manager/whoever Keith is, we are FINALLY expecting to get our couch on saturday, 8/30 (so we're told....). we were spoken to in a manner that was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DEGRADING towards women. just because we are women making a big purchase DOESN'T mean that we don't have a clue as to what is going on. we will NEVER purchase from this company again, even after the $300 store credit they gave us.

The owner of this business should be in jail. Took 4 weeks for me to find out merchandise was never even ordered. Says he's going to order it would take a week. I said I didn't want it. He said he was delivering it anyway. Creepy!!!!!

I CANT IMAGINE WHAT THE PERSON ABOVE ME IS EVEN TALKING ABOUT, THE OWNER IS GREAT, HAS EXELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ALWAYS RETURNED ALL OF MY PHONE CALLS RESPECTFULLY, HIS DELIVERY GUYS IS VERY RESPECTFULL AND PROFESSIONAL, THE DATE I WAS GIVEN, IS THE DATE MY FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED, NOT ONLY WAS MY BEAUTIFUL BEDROOM SUITE SET UP, THEY ALSO HAULED AWAY MY OLD SET I HAD AT NO CHARGE, NOT TO MENTION THEY DELIVERY MEN WERE VERY FAST AT THE WHOLE SET UP, ALL OF THE FURNITURE AT F&S IS BEAUTIFUL AND YOU CANNOT BEAT ANY OF HIS PRICES, THE OWNER IS A FAIR AND HONEST MAN AND ALWAYS WILLING TO WORK WITH EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SERVICE AND IM LOOKING FORWARD IN DOING MORE BUSINESS WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE, ITS BEEN A PLEASURE!! Awful! I completely agree that...

Awful! I completely agree that place is a piece of crap! I purchased a queen size bed and it took over a week and a half for them to deliver it to my house. I only live a quarter mile away and it seemed as though I was 100 miles away. They kept making excuses why they couldn't deliver it on the day that was scheduled. Everyone that I talked to over the phone had an accent and I could barely understand their use of 'slang.' I had to keep asking what they meant OVER and over again! I was so frustrated each time I had to call them. When they finally delivered the mattress it took longer than expected because the delivery guy kept taking breaks. I had to help him take the mattress out of the truck and I'm a pretty big dude so that was a struggle for me! I shouldn't have to do anything, that's why I had it DELIVERED! When inside my house, he was banging the box spring all over my walls and furniture! I wouldn't come here again if my life depended on it. You're better off going anyplace else! Don't shop at F&S Furniture! They'll rob you of time and money!
