Taco Bell

Think about this if you go to toco bell or any other restaurant. If the person taking your payment is the same person handing you your food they have just touched the bag of food they handed you with the same gloves they have just handled the 25, 50, 100 or however many people's money and food. I tried to make this point to the manager at taco bell in Lapeer mi 48446 and the manager told me I was DELUSIONAL and hung up on me. Think about it! 🤔
I ordered at the drive thru. When it was my turn I pulled up to the first window expecting to pay. The young lady was clearly taking orders and motioned me to pull ahead. I was asked for my payment. I have the cashier my card. When she handed me back my card she also handed me my food. I said excuse me may can I ask you a question? She said not respond so I repeated myself. I looked behind me and the cars were all backed up behind me so I decided rather than hold up the line I would call. The phone was answered and I asked are you a manager? Whe replied yes I am. I asked her why was the person taking my payment the same person handing me my food? She said she had gloves on. I said that's cross contamination. She said no it's not. I said yes it is she's taking everyone's payment then handing them their food without changing her gloves. She said oh my goodness lady, then what's your name and phone number I'll give it to my manager. I asked excuse me? She repeated what's your name and number? I. Said you just responded to of me oh my goodness lady! I wanted to explain that to have the same person taking payment then handing the food out with the same pair of gloves was only protecting herself! She said now your hearing things, YOU'RE DELUSIONAL AND THEN SHE HUG UP ON ME! I called back and said I'd like to speak to the manager who just told me I was DELUSIONAL then hung up on me. She said I'm sorry I just walked in the door I don't know who that is. Mind you I was parked in the restaurant facing the door. I asked will you ask the managers and give me her name? She said I wont give you her name. I asked are you a manager? She said yes. I asked what is your name? She said I wont give you my name. I said I just want a first name. She said I won't give you my name but you can call 1800 taco bell. I asked are you refusing to give me your first name? I repeatedly asked for a name she just kept telling me to call the 1-800 #. I asked

fast service and restaurant is clean

The new location is definitely a plus. Food & service are very good.
