Excela Health Chestnut Ridge-Quik Care

The ladies who work the phones are unprofessional and unrealistic. I wanted to be a new patient and make an appointment, seeing how my family now has a great health insurance plan. The lady who answered the phone said that she would need all my prior records before she can even schedule an appointment. I explained to her that it had been three years since my last GYN appt and that was in Florida, which could take some time. I also have injured my left wrist and it is very painful, that I really need to see the doctor. She informed to come by and pick up a release authorization form. I asked her if she could fax it to me or is it a downloadable form. She said "Nope".

Making a trip to the Doctor's Office just to pick up a form ... extremely unrealistic. What she does not know is that I am a caregiver for an autistic child and a disabled husband. I have waited three years to see a doctor and it definitely is not going to happen with Excela Chestnut Ridge Family. They just lost patients and credibility with me, my circle of friends and acquaintances
