Blackhaven Wedding Gardens

Wedding was amazing! Everything went according to plan and was on time. We were complimented on how beautiful and organized it was. No one was waiting around to get food or drinks

Ms. Black is a joy to work with and is always helpful. The garden itself is simply breathtaking and offers a lot of options for types of ceremonies and for photographs. There is a reception hall onsite with nice kitchen space and two dressing rooms. The space is ideal for a wedding of 150 or less.

I could not have imagined a more beautiful ceremony! This location is the most gorgeous outdoor venue in our area, and my wedding ( a year later) is still talked about/considered one of the most fun weddings anyone has ever attended.

I officiated a wedding here in September. This is a lovely venue and Mrs. Black is a pleasure to work with!

Thank you Barbara Black for helping to make our daughter's wedding even more perfect than we thought possible. I especially appreciate your attention to detail and being there for my wife and I as we hosted our family and friends for Rebecca's wedding.

I had my wedding at Blackhaven and it was beautiful. The gardens are nice, there is plenty of parking and it is so convenient to have the ceremony and reception at the same place. It is also convenient to have a place that includes the set up, linens, cake and DJ. They also had names and numbers of many other extras that was super helpful, from harp players, to photographers and even a minister (who were all by the way WONDERFUL) because of all these great things I was able to over look the fact that the owner was a little rude. I understand that she needs to keep watch of her investment, but she stood over everyone and watched them like a hawk and kept reminding my mom as she helped set up the day of my wedding that she would charge her extra if she "did this or that". I had already explained the rules to my mother so she was well aware. Although I had to stand my ground with a lot of details because they felt their way was best, I ultimately did everything my way. The only thing I thought was super unperfessional was that they sat through my whole reception dressed very casually and helped themselves to MULTIPLE plates of food that I had paid good money for.

All in all in the end I had a great day, I do warn those who have their wedding here to stand firm and get everything in writing and be forewarned that the Blacks are who they are and they are strict.
