The distinguished history of Mother Theresa Home began in 1964 when the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago converted their vacant convent into a home devoted to serving the individual nursing needs of 57 residents. In 1990, Mother Theresa Home became an integral part of the Franciscan Village campus, a 33-acre continuing care retirement community that provides a full spectrum of living options, in which residents of the Village receive priority admittance for nursing care. Following in the 100-year tradition of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, Mother Theresa Home maintains its commitment to provide loving care through quality of service. It is in Lemont, Ill.

        This nursing home is very nice and clean. The facility has plenty of fresh linens for the staff to use, unlike many places. I've worked here a few times as an agency nurse and as a hospice nurse. If I needed to go to a nursing home I would definately go here!
