Applebee's

Our server really cares about our experience. She checked on us often and the manager checked on us as well. Their Perfect Margarita is Awesome and their 12 ounce Ribeye is on special! It was cooked perfectly Medium Rare for me. We'll be back soon!

The food was terrible, runny sauce on the linguine, shrimp peel on the shrimp, oil on top of the French onion soup and the fries were extremely salty. I sent the food back and got something else; they didn't comp anything off of my bill for the bad food. Overall food was horrible!

My server was pretty cool for most of the evening. He brought me my food in a timely manner, brought me many refills of my soda, and was friendly. But at the end of my evening there, when I had some questions about my bill, he treated me like I was an idiot! (BTW, he told me something that was inconsistent with what he had said a few moments earlier - and that caused the confusion.) He then talked over me...trying to "educate" me on how taxes work...while not even listening to my question/concern. It was totally uncool. After he left, there were still some questions with the bill...as I was trying to pay it with the electric box they have on the table, and it kept giving me different total amounts. While my server was not around, the manager was, so I asked him my question. My server later came by and asked if the manager answered my questions, and then completely brushed me off. Even though I felt that he had treated me like a third grader a few moments before, I still left what I considered to be a generous tip (25% of my bill) because I had been there for quite some time. After he gave me my receipt, he did not say "goodbye." He did not say "have a good night." He didn't even thank me for coming in (which is sort of standard...or such has been the case in my experience). He did nothing except just walk off! The food was great! The manager was pretty nice...but, overall, I'd have to say that my server acted inappropriately to one of Applebee's patrons (that being me). I'd recommend to him that the next time someone has a concern, he should listen to what he/she has to say IN FULL - instead of treating them like they are uneducated in how to read a bill! (I hope Applebee's reads this, and will remind their servers of the importance of not lecturing people who come in to enjoy their meals at their restaurant!)

Great job!! The people are always nice. Beautiful work! The food is always prepared well, and the service is always great. Would recommend to anyone!

MAGGOT IN MY FOOD! Ewe..... As I was eating my chicken fingers the lettuce on the side appeared to have something white crawling on it. I inspected it & yelled to my co-worker - "It's a maggot in my food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The manager offered me 1/2 price on my meal. I sent the food back, didn't eat, my friend almost lost her lunch (vomited), and the only thing I couldn't figure out was - 'WHAT WAS A MAGGOT DOING ON FRESH LETTUCE?' I thought maggots liked nasty things. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to wash lettuce. Afterall, I would have eaten both the chicken AND the 'garnish' if it were clean.
