I am in the habbit of helping people find pets. My husband and I have rescued all of our animals. Second chance animals have surprising temperments when placed in the right home. Part of this process is discussion. I use online searches and then verify with the shelter.



I called to talk to lcshelter today and was directed back to the lcshelter.org website. There were no descriptors about temperment, tendancies and history. This is important information when choosong to drive many miles for the potential match. So I called lcshelter back and the same representative answered. She had better things to do then spend 5 minutes with me on the phone in an effort to place pets. What? I have no more words for her other than what I just told her and you.



Have a great day and please go to lcshelter and rescue a pet and talk to someone who cares about making their shelter more effective. Thank you to the lcshelter staff that cares about families and animals and donate their time to do so!

This place is incredible. They people at the front desk made me feel like I was the most important person there. I got a tour. I was able to play with several pets and when I picked a dog they said I could come back anytime for help if I needed it. The best part is their pet clinic. My mother takes all her friends pets there. Now I do too. I wish I had know about this gem years ago. They sure have nice pets.
