Osteoporosis is the thinning of bone tissue & loss of bone density over time. Calcium and phosphate are two minerals that are essential for normal bone formation. Throughout youth, your body uses these materials to produce bones. If you do not get enough calcium, or if your body does not absorb enough calcium from your diet, bone production and bone tissues may suffer.

Dr. Renee Baughman completed her Bachelor’s degree at Ithaca College. She then attended medical school at the State University of NY at Buffalo where she earned her MD degree. Dr. Baughman then entered the OB/GYN residency program through the University of Buffalo. In 2003 she completed her residency and went to work for Gynecology Obstetric Associates of WNY, PC. Hysterectomy
