Provided by SuperpagesEvery year, a group of my friends who all used to work together meet for an annual dinner and Christmas gift exchange. We prefer a private dining room because we can get a little noisy and heard that Abuelo's had a large room big enough for our group, as well as an extra table to hold gifts until after dinner. Last night we all had a wonderful time here. Our waiter was kind, patient and accommodating. The service was great, the food delicious and the prices were reasonable. And even though we were still enjoying each other's company until just a few minutes before the restaurant closed, we were not made to feel as if the staff was anxious for our departure. In fact, we were somewhat surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty as we prepared to leave. All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I plan to repeat very soon.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat restaurant! Beautiful interior, courtyard style dining. Huge menu with alot of options, from grill and specialites to more traditional mexican combination platters, full lunch and senior menu, full kids menu, happy hour 3-6 Mon-Fri. So many options allow you to dine on a budget or splurge for a special night out.

This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant in town. Beautiful atmosphere, with a huge menu. Happy hour 2 dollar drafts and 3 dollar margaritas M-F 3-6PM. The best thing is service- very accomodating to special needs and responsive whenever you ask for anything. We have also reserved their private dining room for a birthday- not many places can offer private dining, and for free! We've been loyal customers for 3 years now.

Provided by SuperpagesFantastic restaurant. We eat there at least 2 times a week. This is a chain...but it doesn't have the "chain" feel. Salsa is perfect. My favorite dish....Chicken Medallions. They have great Mexican food too. This is a great place for drinks after a Day at the Races. Really nice feel to the place.

Love the tortilla soup but found the fajitas disappointing. They should come with a LARGE plate of pico, sour cream, guacamole, beans and rice instead of small saucer with dallops of pico, sour cream and guacamole. The chicken and beef need to be sliced into thinner, delicate strips and tomatoes should be added to the onion and green pepper mixture. Eldorao's, Fiesta Mexicana and the like have better fajitas at about half the price of yours. I probably will never reorder them again at Abuelo's.
