I love the food here and the view is great also. Salmon is always delicious and our meals have always been delicious and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommed. Great beer choices too!

We have eaten there twice. The first time was excellent this last time was horrible. They were busy but not overly so and acted put out because we did not have a reservation. I was pleased they were able to seat us fairly quickly. The salmon was not as good as last time. It was thick and dry this time. But the worst part was my fiancés rib eye was inedible. We sent it back with after he ate 2 bites of it and found it to be completely fat and grizzle. The waitress Ashley I believe was her name did not care only said "yeah the rib eye is our fattiest steak". At that point my fiancé had lost his appetite and did not want another steak. So she took it and he sat there with no dinner and they had the gall to charge us the 18.00 for the steak they took back to the kitchen. Rather than make a scene in the restaurant I wrote a note on my guest check about my experience and included my name and telephone number. Still no response from the Windjammer. I noticed today's Sunday Brunch was quite slow there. Maybe other people had a bad experience too. It is too bad, I was really excited about this place and thought it was new favorite until last Friday night. Now not sure I will ever go back.

WASTE OF MONEY. We went to this place on saturday 10/5. There was maybee 4 tables occupied. The waitress brought some warm bread that was excellent. I orded the seafood chowder tht was awesome. 2 people ordered the perch & 2 ordered the walleye. The perch was so salty it was un edible. The walleye was salty & tasted like it was frozen and had a rubbery texture. I asked the waitress if it was fresh she said YES. NO WAY that was fresh. I dont think she trusted our opinoin so she asked our frend if she could try it for herself. At that point I thought she would take to the kitchen and try it. NOPE she took someones fork of the table and cut into it off someones dish and ate it!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. My thinking was: there was a wedding party upstairs that had walleye for there dinner and I was served the LEFTOVER just microwaved.
