This place is a chop shop for local rescues. I took my puppy there for her spay procedure, because our rescue insisted. She waited in a crate until 3 PM, until they verified who was paying for the procedure, She hadn't had food or water since the night before. Then when I could tell somethung wasnt right I took her to my vet. Completely shoddy work. Don't go there if you have other options.

Dr. Donna and her staff are very caring. I had a sick puppy and picked him up at 5:30 pm. The Dr. called me at 9:45pm on her way home from work to see how the pup was doing. She tries really hard not to inflate your office bill. Her dentals are much less then most vets and you should see the beautiful pearly white teeth when she is done!

I had an emergency with one of my rescue foster dogs over the New Years Holiday. This dog could be very nasty with strangers and I was worried about where to take him - the rescue vet was too far away- and I called Four Paws. They were wonderful! Listened to me, gave me good advice over the phone, made time for me that day, and took excellent care of the dog. I was so grateful for them and recommend them heartily.

Extremely compassionate

The doctor is extremely compassionate and caring

We brought our 16-year-old dog in for an emergency after hours not only did she stay late she did everything she could in order to comfort both the animal and us. It was a hard decision for us but we wound up putting the animals down Her quality of medicine is excellent and her bedside manner is the best I've ever seen. She clearly has a love for what she does and the animals

Overall

I'm giving 4 Paws 5 stars, because I'm happy with the care my dog has gotten, and happy with the affordable prices -- in comparison to his previous vet.

I can relate to the person whose kitten had to wait a long time to be neutered. I've had the same experience at 3 other vets in the area with my own pets and foster kittens, whether it was for a spay or neuter or a teeth-cleaning. I don't like them waiting in cages after a long fast either. But I think it's a problem in a lot of places.

I cut her slack because I think she's the only vet there, and has a very small staff. That's fine for me. Also, she seems to be a preferred vet for some local rescue groups & TNR organization. So she might be pretty swamped some days, like the day I was there and a trapper brought in multiple carriers of stray cats/kittens to be spayed and neutered that day.

I leave there feeling good that I brought my dog to her. I haven't felt that way when I left other vets. Not only is she giving me hope that he has a longer life ahead of him than I might have thought, but because she's affordable, I'm not afraid to take on the 15-20 year responsibility of another pet.

Do not bring your animals here

If I could give this 0 stars I would. They had me drop my kitten off for a neuter at 9:30 AM and when I called at 3:15 after they said they would call me by 3 they were rude and then told me his neuter hasn't even been started and he'd been fasted since 9 pm the previous night. This is an extreme fast for a young kitten especially for such a quick procedure. They seem to care little to none about the animals and are rude and disorganized when dealing with their clients. I would stay away from this place.

Overall

Dr. Donna really cares about the animals and will do whatever it takes to help any animal, whether a client or a stray, injured cat she finds on her way to work! She gives good deals to rescues and has a low-cost vaccination clinic on Fridays by appointment.

Overall

I felt very uncomfortable leaving my dog there. The receptionist was very rude and NOT helpful at all. I felt like I was putting my dog on a assembly line. They were unable to tell me what time surgery was, what time I could pick her up just that they would call. I WOULD NOT RECEMENDTHIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!
