Academy High School provides a variety of educational programs to students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic programs include reading, writing, fine arts, math, music, English, science, economics, social studies, language arts, history, foreign languages, health and physical education. The school offers breakfast and lunch menu that includes milk, fruit juices, baked snacks, chicken nuggets, bread sticks, sandwiches, French toast, cookies, mashed potatoes, hot dogs, chips, pizzas, tossed salad and hamburgers. It additionally provides a range of sports activities, such as football, cross-country and cheerleading. The school maintains a library that stocks books, newspapers and periodicals for students. It also operates a counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. Academy High School is a part of the Academy Independent School District, which governs an elementary, middle and high school.
