Fluoride Treatment
A fluoride treatment can be used as a cautionary tool to support healthy mouths, especially if you are at high risk for cavities. Fluoride is commonly applied topically with highly concentrated gels, varnishes, or a rinse. They only take a few minutes to apply, and you may be asked to avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes after so the fluoride can fully absorb. Both adults and children can benefit from fluoride treatments. Children exposed to fluoride early on will be less likely to develop cavities. Ask your dentist today about getting fluoride treatments for the whole family.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants consist of a liquid resin that hardens into a thin plastic material when brushed onto back molars. They are used to prevent plaque and bacteria build up that leads to decay. Sealants are essentially a protective shield that keeps the hard-to-reach nooks and crannies of the teeth safe from food and plaque. Often applied to the back teeth, these vulnerable areas that can benefit from sealants typically include both molars and premolars. Children and teenagers are great candidates to get sealants, as this can help protect their teeth through the cavity prone years of ages six to fourteen.

They also require more upkeep to take care of; however, partial dentures can be a more cost effective option.
