Parkview Arts Science Magnet High School provides enrollment to more than 1,100 students and offers undergraduate, preprofessional and technical education programs. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 in various subjects, including microbiology, organic chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, applied statistics, environmental health, technical writing, qualitative analysis, English, math and social studies. It also offers elective courses that include theater, stagecraft, creative writing, jewelry, pottery, computer graphics, dance ensemble, lab singers, madrigals, stage and jazz bands. The school has various departments, including athletics, human resources, counseling, security, health, food and finance. It has working relations with Barnes & Noble Booksellers, University of Arkansas School for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Repertory Theater and Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids. The school is operated by the Little Rock School District, and is located in Little Rock, Ark.
