Timothy D. Ridge, CPA, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Arkansas as a member of the Honors College in 1997. He began the first part of his career working in the audit department of a Big Four accounting firm where in four years he quickly rose to supervising senior and was offered early promotion to audit manager. During this time he gained experience through a Merger and Acquisition residency in the Dallas, Texas office. To reduce out of town travel, he took his audit knowledge to a local practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. With a desire to broaden his experience and knowledge in the fields of tax consulting and financial planning, he shifted to a position with another local firm where he begin working closely with small business and individual clients on retirement and investment planning as well as tax planning and preparation along with financial statement audits. In 2003, he was a founding member of Scruggs Ridge & Co. CPAs.
