Buono's Authentic Pizzeria

Terrifiic service....Tasty Food...delivery superB...recommend any tourists or out of towners to try this place...EXCELLENT!!!

This place sucks. I only gave it 1 star because you can't give 0. I read about it online (guess that was my first mistake) and thought it would be a really nice place to visit for dinner w/ my hubby and a friend while on vacation in LB for the weekend. I was soooo excited about a big Italian dinner with pasta and pizza, and especially excited about the chicken ranch pizza of the month. We walked in and although it looked a little shabby inside, we would have been ok with that. However, not ONE employee/ server greeted us when we walked in. There were several customers at the counter and although the employees all looked up and clearly saw us standing there, no one said one word to us. It was very insulting. I actually grabbed a menu and we stood there looking it, still nothing. Finally I said, "is someone going to seat us?" That's when one of the servers said "oh ya, go ahead and seat yourselves". We found a table close by and sat down, after which it took about 5 minutes and my husband walking up to the counter and requesting service before anyone came to take our drink order. When they did, they took our drink order, but when I asked for garlic bread I was told they didn't have any and offered bruschetta (no garlic bread at an Italian restaurant?!). The bruschetta was brought out really quickly, leading us to believe it had been sitting out, but still no drinks. We all ate the bruschetta in silence and were dying of thirst. We all made eye contact with the waiters at the same time, still no drinks. Time elapsed by now was about 10 minutes since we seated ourselves. Finally we were so annoyed and put off by the horrible service that we just agreed to go someplace else for dinner. We all got up and walked out without saying a word. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, and would actually tell people to steer clear! The horrible service is enough to overpower any tastiness that might be found in the food (not like I would know how it tastes).
