The Clairmont

This Facility is no longer The Clairmont. It is now Longview Hills. My sister is 62 and had a brain aneurysm and 6 strokes. She was first in a high star facility in Kilgore which she received very poor care and once sent to Mother Francis hospital, the Doctors reported that facility to the state for GrossNegligence . My sister almost died there of Sepsis. Since being in Longview Hills noticing the difference in the two, I give this facility a 5 star rating. The staff is caring, she’s never left laying dirty, they stay on top of her care regularly. I am amazed at the difference in care. We have a camera in my sisters room now and it is so nice to see and witness the improved care she gets here. She is a trach patient as well, so our choices were limited on places that would take her. I’m glad we put her in Longview Hills. Always realize how many beds are in this large of a facility and how few reviews are put on here as most ppl only review a place when they are displeased. Longview Hills is clean as a shiny penny, never smells, is still being redone inside and is hopping, fresh, a lot going on, well staffed and my family is very please. The family of Carla Howell.

Expertise, Professionalism would be about 4 or 5 *, facility will remain 1*, if it weren't for a handful of employees, 2 nursing members and about 3 CNA'S only. I would leave this place as soon as possible, they have their favorites, my roommate is always using verbal assault and battery against me, and nothing is going to happen if I tell on him, he has to be a favorite of the employees
