Oral Cancer Screening
The goal of oral cancer screening is to detect mouth cancer or precancerous lesions that may lead to mouth cancer at an early stage — when cancer or lesions are easiest to remove and most likely to be cured.

Teeth Cleaning
A tooth cleaning is broken down by dental hygienists into six different parts. We’ll discuss each and give a brief description of what they include.
Fluoride Treatment
Studies have shown that fluoride treatment is highly effective at providing additional protection against tooth decay provided it is applied at least twice a year. For this reason, many dentists are now offering fluoride treatment alongside your regular, six-monthly dental check-ups. It is especially recommended for those patients who are at higher risk of developing cavities.
Dental Sealants
If you’ve recently had a dental procedure, you may have received a sealant. The process is so quick and easy that many patients don’t know much about it. Sealants are thin plastic coatings that are painted onto the surface of the tooth. This process is usually used on the flatter back teeth like the molars and premolars. Sealants help to reduce tooth decay and protect the underlying tooth.
Space Maintainers
There are also special fixed appliances available to help control thumb sucking and tongue thrusting, as well as fixed space maintainers that are used in pediatric orthodontics to keep a space open and prevent the other teeth from moving while an adult tooth waits to erupt. This is most often used if a child needs to have an infant tooth extracted way before the adult tooth is ready.

Fillings
Sometimes, bonding also is used as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam fillings, or to protect a portion of the tooth's root that has been exposed when gums recede.
Resin Composite
Bonding is among the easiest and least expensive of cosmetic dental procedures. The composite resin used in bonding can be shaped and polished to match the surrounding teeth. Most often, bonding is used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth. It also can be used to close spaces between teeth, to make teeth look longer or to change the shape or color of teeth.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are unique to each patient and can be applied individually to address an issue with a single tooth, or in sets so that you can improve virtually any part of your smile. They can also be created in a variety of different shades, making it possible to match individual veneers to your natural teeth so that they look extremely discreet or, alternatively, so they can change the color of your entire smile.
