        Founded in 1974, El Centro del Pueblo is a non-profit community social service agency. Based in Los Angeles, Calif., the agency provides services, such as job training, family preservation, child abuse and neglect intervention, emergency services, youth counseling, behavior change outreach, alcoholism prevention and AIDS prevention, to mention a few.
