        It looks like Amplex service went down - possibly FOREVER - about 1:05am EDT, today, May 31 - memorial day!

        Their 7x24 tech support number (419.837.5015) gets Verizon's "this call cannot be completed". Calling their toll-free 888-419-3635 from yellowpages.com gets you a fast busy - after a very long pause.

        I do hope they have not vanished in the middle of the night on a national holiday, but I'm starting to believe it right now. I've called their tech support at least a half-dozen time before now. I always got through - before 'today' (quotes since it's almost 3 am here).

        Bit of an update. They vanished from the DNS system - no records at all - at 3am local time, but while I was asleep they got that restored. They've possibly updated their DNS 40 times today (at least, their SOA record indicates this...). Their phone numbers are working now, with a canned message that everything they offer is offline - no ETA. That's phone, TV, internet. Someone is having a very, very bad day/week/month/year.
