        I called around to check on prices not only for an A/C check-up, but also how much refrigerant would cost, if needed.



        Rummel charged $10 less than Great Dane. In addition Great Dane wanted $100 per pound of refrigerant while Rummel only charged $50.



        As it turned out everything was working "great". No refrigerant needed. Channing, the owner, checked out more things than any other technician. But what was really interesting was that the refrigerant level was ok. Two years ago I had Great Dane come out for a routine check-up. The tech said I must have a leak and that he had to add 2 pounds of refrigerant. (I was never charged anything for the refrigerant).



        So, I would wholeheartedly recommend Rummel Heating and Cooling.
