        Incorporated in 1919, The American Legion is one of the largest veteran s service organizations in the United States specializing in mentoring and sponsoring youth programs. Based in Huntsville, Ala., it advocates patriotism and honor, promotes national security and offers devotion to fellow service members and veterans.
