Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The Madison Enterprise has modified their slogan - Call Enterprise and we will leave you on hold.
Very disappointing service - I always used Enterprise when I travel and have always received nothing but the best service EXCEPT for Madison, TN.
I was putting my vehicle in the shop due to an accident. The work will take 3 weeks. The other drivers insurance was footing the bill. I had a reservation. At 12:15 Enterprise was called asking them to come pick me up (They are less than 1 mile away). 30 minutes later they were called again and told to come pick me up. 1 hour later still no show. Both the shop and I called Enterprise and we were put on hold for the next available person.. The shop waited 15 minutes and I waited 25 before finally giving up. You can handle only so much of being thanked for using this family run business. The shop felt sorry for me, as I had to get back to work, and they gave me a ride to the Enterprise office. First thing that I noticed was the phones were ringing and several employees were just standing around.
It took over 15 minutes to get someone attention to get my reserved vehicle. Then that person left and 15 minutes later came back and said that he looked over the vehicle and it was okay and that there is 1/4 tank of gas in it and that he is bringing it up front right now. Finally at about 2 pm , they bring the truck up front. It's a poor boy F150XLT that someone had stained the back seat and the rear carpet and it only had 1/4 tank of gas in it. So the first stop I had to make was to put some gas in it. Oh, they phones kept ringing all the while I was there and nobody seemed to care.
They folded up the printed rental agreement and stuck it in the glove box. I looked at it after I got back to work and the rental agreement is only for 3 days NOT 3 weeks.
So Call Madison Enterprise and they will screw you up!

I rent from this enterprise several times a year and they are always very helpful and friendly. If anything is ever wrong they always make it right.

Chose Enterprise the first time upon recommendation of a neighbor. I was not disappointed. I dealt with Hillary in the Madison TN office and I am completely happy with my experience, I was left with only a Ford which I can't stand but the trip was total success and we had plenty of room for baggage and passengers both. pick up and return was smooth and easy and this was simply a completely enjoyable process even though our reason for needing the rental wasn't. 5 stars all around. They worked hard to ensure you are happy and I liked that and the million dollar smiles.
