Kiddos Learning Center

Stay away. We are former clients of this business but, knowing what I now know, I would absolutely not trust this business to care for my child. I think that the thing that is most important when looking for a day care is consistency. You think that once you select a day care provider, they will be there for the long run to care for your child. Well, once we were given a two week notice that our Kiddo's center was closing, I knew neither this company nor any of its other centers could be trusted to consistently be there for my child. We have gone elsewhere for our day care and are very happy to have done so.

If you are looking for daycare, I would keep looking. My child went to the World Dairy Center Kiddos and we enjoyed the teachers very immensely. My daughter loved it there. And then....

Events that have happened recently completely changed my opinion of Kiddos, and more specifically, the owner. On Oct. 15th we were given notices that the center was closing in 2 weeks. The phones were turned off a week before the center was even closed!

We were charged for a full week of daycare after the center was closed and six weeks later, have still not received our money back. In our attempt to get confirmation that a refund will be made, the owner of Kiddos has made no attempt to apologize for any inconvenience or give us any concrete information as to when to expect a refund, even saying that when most centers close, you just lose the money. He has used the word 'unreasonable' to describe the parents he has been dealing with in this situation.

This past weekend we received an updated statement that showed no payment for the week of Oct. 31st, which is funny because our credit card statement shows a payment of $229 paid to Kiddos for a week of daycare while the center was not open for business. The owner Phil Carlson conveniently enough is not answering or returning phone calls. Guess when you move down to Tennessee to open more businesses, you don't feel the need to take care of the ones already operating up in Dane County.



After seeing how the parents and teachers of this center have been treated, I would not recommend sending your child to Kiddos unless you want a giant headache.

We enjoyed sending our kids to the World Dairy Campus, but it closed suddenly, with only two weeks notice and they charged us for an extra week that they were not even in business for. Six weeks later we still have not received a refund - at first the owner was stalling and now he is not communicating with us at all. Unfortunately this matter will likely end up in small claims court.



There was a point where I would've told anyone that Kiddos was great, but seeing how they've treated their clients and teachers, I would advise you to look elsewhere. True colors shine through in hard times.

We attended the World Dairy Campus for this daycare company and upon closing, with only a 2 week notice, refunds that were due to the families have not been paid as of yet. So far, it's taken over 6 weeks and we still have no refunds. We've emailed the owner to no avail.



Trust your instincts, a daycare that closes its doors with 2 weeks notice and withholds refunds due to parents wouldn't be my first choice.
