Lake Howell Animal Clinic

We've been clients since Drs Perez and Diaz took over the practice. Over the years they have treated all of our nine dogs and three birds. We could not possibly be more pleased and grateful. The Drs are very skilled, professional and compassionate. Yes they are able to show clinical professionalism and compassion at the same time. We have had six major dog surgeries done there with the best possible outcomes. The staff is great. A few years ago I arrived on their door step one morning before opening with a dog who was nearly dead. Nancy got her hocked up to oxygen and kept her going till surgery could be done. We had that dog another two good happy years. Thanks again Nancy. Lake Howell Clinic is great.

Dr. Diaz and his staff are very experienced with exotic animals and are willing to help with wild ones as well, especially turtles and tortoises. They work closely with Turtles USA (a turtle rescue) and have helped with snakes as well. They are gentle with the animals and always have the animal's best interest at heart.

We adopted a Border Collie 7 years ago and have been taking her to Dr. Perez since we brought her home. Dr. Perez has been caring and extremely competent in assisting us with basic health care and any special problems that have arisen. The staff has been helpful, attentive, and kind to our pets. In addition, they provided excellent care to my senior citizen cat. I am certain that the level of care we received through Dr. Perez helped our cat live to be beyond 23 years old.

I love both of the doctors. They have treated 4 of my dogs and 3 of my guinea pigs.

They are very caring and knowledgable.

I feel safe in their hands and they've ALWAYS considered cost when ordering tests.

I wouldn't go anywhere else.

And I can't say enough about their staff too.

Do not go to this place. I ha to put my bunny down because of the pain they put her thru by not noticing the extent on her fracture. Now not only am I 600 dollars in debt but my pet is six feet under thanks to them and their excuses!

They wanted $1000 for surgery on an infection for my bunny. I wasn't able to afford the amount they were asking for so I paid them $268 for antibiotics, pain meds and the exam only to leave broken hearted that my bunny would not survive. Over the next day and a half I called twice to have the doc give me a call to answer a question (3 DAYS LATER) still no call. I went to a different vet who charged me $191 for the surgery and tooth removal, removal of the pus pocket and cleansing, sewing his eyelid shut in the hopes that it could be saved (another consequence of the first vet visit and the reason behind the 2 unreturned phone calls) and her nails clipped. My bunny was eating solid foods and drinking water 4 hours after surgery. Please Please Please do not bring your bunny here I'm not sure how they are with other animals but save you time and emotions and seek someone else!!!!!!!!!

HELLO, MY NAME IS EDNA AND I HAVE A BLUE AND GOLD MACAW. I WAS RECENTLY IN THIS OFFICE AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE THE TEAM IS VERY NICE AND CARING. DR. DIAZ IS A GREAT DR. AND HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN TO ME WAT IT WAS BEEN PERFORMED AT THE APPOINTMENT. WHEN WE WHERE DONE WITH MY PET NEEDS HE DID SPEND TIME WITH ME ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS AND EDUCATING ME. I FOUND A GREAT VETERINARIAN THAT CARES FOR ME AND MY BIRD AFTER 6 YEAR IN THE LOOKING. SO IF YOU HAVE AN EXOTIC PET AND WHANT TO LORN ABOUT IT AND HAVE A GREAT DR. TO HELP YOU WHIT YOUR NEED THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO.
