The IRC invites you to become a supporting member of its research organization. Membership in the IRC is open to all insurers and reinsurers that apply for membership, make direct financial contributions based on an equitable assessment of all members and agree to comply with IRC's Policies and Procedures. The IRC is organized for scientific and research purposes. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations, IRC seeks to anticipate and respond to public and insurance industry needs for timely, reliable information involving property-casualty insurance that will assist both the public and industry in making sound decisions on legislative and regulatory public policy issues. The IRC makes its research reports widely available to the public, industry, insurance commissioners and other public officials, but IRC does not lobby or participate in lobbying communications of its members or others by advocating any point of view on policy matters.
