Wickham Park

I grew up in Manchester and spent many days at this park. It is a wonderful park with impressive gardens, an aviary, play grounds, bathroom facilities, a frisbee golf course, fitness trail, and beautiful views. There are facilities for sports, cookouts, and weddings. I would recommend this location for any large out-door gathering, excellent sledding in winter, workouts in the summer, or just an afternoon off. Well worth the visit, bring a picnic.



Also, they have all sorts of events throughout the year from frisbee dog championships to huge cross-country races. My favorite was always Santa's Workshop. It's free and one of the most authentic Santa's ever ;) I still take my godson.
