The Margate Board of Education looks after the education of students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The board is a part of the Margate School District, which provides special education for students with physical and developmental disabilities. The district serves more than 550 students. Its schools conduct classes in math, reading, science, language arts and computer education. The district s schools also focus on drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention programs. Additionally, its schools offer foreign language classes in Spanish. The district s schools provide opportunities to participate in Mandarin Chinese Cultural program.
