My personal experience with Dr Berrios and his staff is that can’t be more amazing every time I go there with my furry kiddos. The care and support is excellent I been a client for over 8y. Any questions is always explained to my family with clarity and lots on information for us to make decisions on the best care for our dogs. We will always recommend them. Thank you guys for being there for us all the time 🐾🥰

Great Doctor. Very helpful. I called numerous facilities, and compared prices, and found that Margate Animal Hospital services were reasonably priced compared with others. So that being said, yes it can be a shock when you are presented with the estimate for services that your beloved four legged friend needs, but remember it's an estimate, and the Doc. puts on there the best treatment options with your pets health in mind. Of course you can discuss with the Doc. treatment options if your budget does not allow for all the services. He will walk you thru it, and point out the most important once to figure out what is ailing your Sparky. Keep in mind, they do want to see your pet healthy, and you a happy customer. Same happened to me, with my cat Sunny, after talking with the Doc. we managed to adjust the bill, and pick the most basic treatment options to get Sunny back in shape. That being said of course a blood test, or x-rays aren't going to be a few dollars. I can say this much, my Cat Sunny was vomiting for 2 days, and had not touched food for three days, when I got to Margate Animal Hospital they of course gave me a huge estimate, but bear in mind that some people want the best of the best treatment options, and outcomes for their beloved pets, some of us want the same but can not afford it. So instead of kicking me to the curb, the doctor stayed beyond his opening hours, and took his time explaining me each exam, and which were the absolute musts to determine Sunnys ailment. We adjusted the estimate, and got Sunny treatment. So some may say expensive, I say not the case, and if you dont want all services, ask which ones are the most basic to ascertain the underlying cause of your pets illness. 5 Stars from me. They went beyond my expectations to help my loving baby Sunny.

I have been using mah for over eight years and three dogs. They are no pressure caring and I think the prices are below most. I use them for boarding and I thing the dr and staff are caring and professional

Doctor Berrios saved my pup and I couldn’t be more grateful! He is very professional, sweet and an excellent doctor. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. Chanel and I are extremely happy with Doctor Berrios and Margate Animal Hospital.

I was really shocked when i was told that it would cost my pet a total of $ 230.00 plus tax to have her nails clipped.Normally it would be $16.00 to trim.But she has to be sedated. I shopped around and called a vet where i use to bring my German Shepard to.

The cost would be $45.00 for sedation,and $9.00 to trim.From $230.00 plus tax to $51.00 plus tax is so,so great.Come on Margate Animal Hospital.Your prices are just too $$$HIGH$$$. When you live on S.S. i have to make ends meet.I'm sure i'm gonna hear from people out their."If you can't afford a Vet,then you shouldn't have a pet."NO,It's just that VET..So,thank GOD their are VETS out there that have reasonable prices,that people can afford.Yes the staff there is great.I'm not complaining about that.The staff is very professional.It's your PRICES that need to come down.If you don't believe me.Try shopping around. Margate has a lot of 4 star ratings in the yellow pages for Vets..Even Hollywood Animal Hospital.

WORST PLACE EVER !

it's funny how no matter what you call about they always tell you you need to bring the dog in , (it's a $40 visit)

Sometimes it's ok to help clients over the phone and not freak them out over nothing ,

ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY !!!!!!!

But when you're a vet it should be all about the pets !!!!

I am SO glad I found a new vet who actually care about my dog !

Btw my dog got a rabies shot there and threw up everywhere (he was allergic to it according to the vet there , EVEN THO HE HAD IT BEFORE AND WAS FINE)

That was my first red flag! After taking him to a hospital

Because he swoll up they said their vaccine might have been expired

Anyways

Never again !

If you LOVE your pets don't take them there !

I started taking my yorkie, Pepper, to Margate Hospital this year. On her i first visit, I was sort of apprehensive because she was to be spayed and she reacted negatively every time I took to her previous vet. When I picked her up after her procedure, she was happy & friendly with the staff. Since then, when I have boarded her, she is excited to see her "vet family" when she has a visit. The staff and the doctor is wonderful with her. The. Office and where the dogs are boarded is clean & bright. I highly recommend this vet .

HORRIBLE the VET is horrible they spent no time telling me she was dehydrated which was obvious since she had been throwing up for 2 days but they were QUICK on giving me an 1300 $ estimate ! STAY AWAY from them !

Our silkie terrier had an badly broken nail on her front foot and we needed proffessional help really fast... We wanted someone local to us but also had a good rating in the yellowpages.com.

We came across Margate Animal Hospital and knew that they had been at this location for many, many years. We got an appointment and took her in. We knew that she had to be sedated to remove the nail but also in the exam we were showed that she really need her teeth cleaned and possibly need 2 extractions done. After discussion with Dr Braun and sedating our 9 lb baby to do the work and knew of the stress on her body to have the teeth done later we all agreed to have it all done at the same time.

Dr Braun and his staff are great people and we would suggest their service to anyone that loves their pets.

Our experience was great and we would rate this service 10 stars ********** !
