Acorn Canning Co

I picked up 2 pies for Christmas Eve as I have heard great things about this place. And unfortunately they were very dry and rubbery. My family couldn't even eat them. We were very disappointed.

Acorn has been open almost 2 years now and Monica , although " scattered" in the beginning has settled in nicely. I there were any previous complaints, I know of only one, she would have rectified the problem happily. Monica informed everyone that she was new at this and doing her best. It's a challenge to go from plumber to shop owner and I applaud her for doing so! Monica has a immeasurable passion for food and it shows.Thanks, me, monica

I go here often for lunch - the best homemade soup EVER! Monica often serves it with homemade biscuits ( her sweet potato biscuits are awesome) . I have never had her pies or jellies, but people I know rave about them. Acorn Canning is the talk of the town!

Yikes......no way was this a good experience. The owner is so scattered and

not at all organized to run a business or make bakery items. Orders aren't filled and you a left running around to get your needed deserts. I was holding a large party for my co-workers and was left with no desert because of this place. BEWARE!!
