Long's Outpost

Long's staff is very friendly. The store carries everything. When you look at the front of the store you can't believe how big the store is. Their website has even more product. Excellent shopping experience.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I don't want to sound like an angry customer without a cause...but, seriously terrible customer service! Rude and really shockingly awful. I went in the AM to purchase a hand gun and they had me drive 40 mins and when I got there they could not sell me because the background place wasn't open (failed to mention this to me). I asked for my deposit back (wasn't sure when I'd be there again). They told me they had to take a 15% fee. I pressed for the whole deposit and they finally agreed to it. Tammy, the manager, got on the phone was really nice and then ended her conversation with --- And, "please don't ever try to buy a gun from us again." Who says that??? They have no phone manners. They are rude and they have little knowledge. Here's the real kicker....I won't buy from them ever! I checked other prices by the way and they are way more expensive. Check out Grice's Gun Shop or Emporium in State College. $50-60 cheaper. A ton more customer service!
