Tree Removal
Often when developing a budget, researching the cost associated with developing the land does not get the attention it deserves. When selecting your property, research whether water, power, and electric are already on the lot. Plan ahead and speak with city officials about building permits and the cost to obtain them. Under most circumstances, your contractor can assist in obtaining permits and will provide you with most of the cost, but we recommend performing your own research ahead of time to avoid any unexpected expenses or delays in construction.It can cost thousands of dollars to hook into utilities. It is considerably less expensive hooking up to utilities already stubbed into the site, rather than having to go into the street to make a connection. This involves the cost of digging up to and into the street as well as repairing it. A site with lots of trees means at least some tree removal, which can be expensive and therefore should be factored into the budget from the outset.

Our averageÂ Lindal package for U.S. clients (design, plans, and exterior materials package) is $150 – $270+ per square foot.* Generally speaking, the turnkey full cost – including construction, interior finishing, etc.- will be anywhere from 2-4 times the cost of the Lindal package ($300-$750+), not including site prep and improvements. These are broad estimates; your actual cost could vary greatly, depending on many factors, including the area of the country where you live, and your choice of siding, roofing, appliances, floor coverings, windows and doors, etc.

The final new home construction cost for a Lindal varies widely. Â Each choice made through the process can have a large impact on the final cost of the home. One of the rooms is called our patio room. This great-looking addition utilizes a traditional solid framed, rafter roof system with insulation and your choice of interior ceiling finishes. The perimeter walls can be sided with the same siding as is currently on your home. The windows can also be the same asâ€”or similar toâ€”those in your existing home.
