What can I say.. due to the poor salesmanship from Motor
Sports in mchenry on rte 120 . my poor son 18 spent the 1800$$ he saved on money down on this 2005 Nissan Murano which was what we now know has ongoing issues with the transverse case . My son only had his vehicle 4 months and 1 problem after another . Once the car broke down the dealer did nothing to help my son get into Another vehicle . It was good year that shared the vehichle had another 1500$ of work needed to be done. Unless you want to have added stress to your life stay away from this dealership. Because the car isn't worth much after fixing the issues it's a complete loss and I I now had to get involved to help him find another car . I'm also have an illness and this worsened that. If only the dealer would have gotten involved and made a effort to really help my son and myself this would of shown an effort and good character on behalf of the dealership .
Don't ever go here. My son cried and was sick for days and still s sick
How they didn't know this vehicle had these ongoing problems give me a break .they just care about making money there mechanic told us the murano 2005 had these transverse case issues after doing research . A good dealership never would of never ever sold this specific vehicle ..
If they were decent they'd give my son at least his down pay,meant to show remorse. .

I didn't purchase a car but used the service department. Very pleased with the brake job and air conditioning service.

After shopping for 3 weeks we are happy with our experience so far. We traded our caravan in for a 2010 Chevy Tahoe. The only thing I have to say is I wish it didnt take so long to buy a car.

We had an awful and stressful experience with McHenry Motor Sports and I highly suggest you look elsewhere for a vehicle despite the low prices. We were sold a vehicle that had 4 mis-matched tires. One of which was from 2004 and an improper fit for the vehicle. Instantly, we had to put in over $600 in new tires. Then, the check engine light, which we were assured by McHenry Motor Sports was a $180 02 sensor issue turned into a $600+ fix. However, the absolute worst part of all was how we were treated after we left the lot. The manager was extremely rude over the phone, non-apologetic, and condescending. He assured us he went over the vehicle with a "fine tooth comb" and yet felt comfortable watching us drive away in an unsafe and unstable vehicle. After our calls were not being returned, my husband called towards the end of the work day and was hung up on twice. Once by the unnecessarily angry manager and once by the furiously irate owner. I DO NOT recommend buying a car from MHMS.

Caveat Emptor. Questionable business practices.



Most good reviews you'll find are done by employees, business associates, and family.



I purchased two vehicles at same time. Both had serious issues not disclosed or repaired when realizing before purchase, even though contract was contingent on repairs being done.



Watch your contract if you do purchase:

1. Overcharged me for sales tax, never refunded.

2. Agreed purchase price was deviated from on both final contracts.

3. Kept money paid for extended warranty purchased that I never received.



They do not own the vehicles they sell. they sell for someone else.



Be leery; do your research. The old adage applies here, "If too good to be true, it probably is."
