Monika has 25 years of experience researching, interviewing and writing a wide variety of news and business articles for daily, weekly and monthly publications. She has special expertise in health, the environment, education, politics, and crisis management. She has written for a variety of publications including US News & World Report, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, People Magazine, Glamour, and Investors Business Daily, among others, and worked in the media relations department at USC. She received a National Press Club award for consumer journalism in 1993. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Monika attended Stanford University and was a fellow at the Casey School of Journalism at the University of Maryland.
