Thrifty Quality Produce

My very first time to visit this store, to buy seafood I bought shrimp 2 1/2 for 13.99 per pound bought the whole fish 5.70 lbs for 7.99 per pound great price. compare it to the green turtle at the beach side, but what i have experience today with one of there employee telling me i can't afford to pay my order, He was telling me wait until you see how much the price of this whole fish. I tell him price it doesn't matter, He look at me and laugh. take his apron off and hand the shrimp to the other employee, and say to him here i'm going to lunch few minute later he come back and said to me oh that fish used be 5.99 per pound but that kind of fish is hard to catch, I didn't respond to his comment, with this kind of Employee in this business you will lose a lot of new customer like me, to tell you the truth i feel like i have been discriminated against, I told the other Employee that helping me this is my very first time to come shopping here I live at the beach side. I shop at the Green Turtle for seafood gourmet store that is a lot more expensive than here never have experience employee question me if i can afford to pay for my order.

I used to really like this store and would shop there 3 or 4 times a week. I buy broccoli every time and three visits in a row it was black, yellow, and rubbery. I pointed this out to management. I leave the store without buying anything when the produce is rotting. After not visiting the store for three weeks I decided to try one last time. The broccoli was rotten to the point of slimyness. I really wish they would get it together but sadly, I don't see that happening.

Just tried this store for the first time last week and its great.I usually buy EVERYTHING i need from a different store(that i wont mention).I will not buy my meat or produce anywhere else now.GREAT PRICES and REALLY GREAT QUALITY.We all have to start being ALOT SMARTER ABOUT WHAT WE EAT and i recommend this store to anyone.It is a smaller atmosphere which i love and the people working there were super friendly.
