Horizon Child Development Center

My son attended for 1.5 years starting at 19 months. I gave two stars because the first 9 months were good and my son was happy. However, soon after, I started having issue after issue with the place. The main problem there is communication! The teachers don't know what is going on (other than with their own classroom while they are there), and where there are multiple teachers in a classroom throughout the day, messages are not passed along. There is no consistency on how things are to be handled. My sons changes of clothes were THROWN AWAY (I found out after he came home with a random pair of pants and NO UNDERWEAR on). Another time I dropped him off with medicine and instructions, and the director and teacher never even knew medicine was left there for him! Thank goodness it was nothing extremely important! I should have pulled my son out sooner, but he seemed happy and had a lot of friends. If communication and consistency is important to you, I would not send your child here.
