General Info: Founded in 1978, Hospice of the Western Reserve provides palliative care, caregiver support and bereavement services. The center offers various levels of services to meet the needs of patients, families, friends and caregivers. It provides services in homes, hospitals, hospice houses, and assisted living and long-term care facilities. Located in Mentor, Ohio, the center offers pain management and symptom control plans and 24-hour continuous care to manage pain or acute medical symptoms. It additionally provides respite, hospice and inpatient care services. The center also offers specialized programs on heart, lungs, AIDS and pediatric care. It is a Medicaid- and Medicare-certified center that is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

Overall

So so Service, not impressed at all. My girl was terminal with cancer and our provider provided all the DME. Hospice comes in and now we have to send it all back and wait for them to have their provider bring out the same, but lesser quality stuff. They destroyed all the medication our provider had provided and I had paid for. Within 2 days they were writing the scripts again. Left a really bad taste in my mouth I would never use these people again.
