        Dr. Katsaros received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin and received his general surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He also received cardiovascular training in Houston Texas at Baylor College of Medicine and performed complex reconstructions at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Katsaros was Board Certified in general surgery in 1999 and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons in 2008. He has been practicing general and cosmetic surgery in Merrillville, Indiana since 1999 and services patients from the Chicagoland area. Dr. Katsaros performs general surgery but specializes in cosmetic surgery procedures such as: tummy tucks; mommy makeovers; breast augmentation; Brazilian Butt Lift; liposuction; fat transfer; facelift; mini facelift; Botox; weight loss surgery and facial fillers. Some procedures that are "cosmetic" may actually be covered by insurance and our office specializes in helping patients obtain coverage when appropriate. Procedures such as chemical peels, Botox (for migraine headaches), breast reduction and tummy tucks (for hernias) are covered by insurance. For uninsured services, our office offers multiple third party financing options as well as in-house financing for patients who do not qualify for third party financing. Downtown Chicago is about 40 minutes from our Merrillville office and we can provide transportation for Chicago patients that have surgery with us. For our of town patients who fly into Ohare or Midway airports, our staff will supply assistance for transportation and local hotel accommodations.

        One of the best decisions I have made in my life

        Dr Katsaros was with me every step of the way. He didn't turn me away instead not only helped me cosmetically but also has helped me change my overall lifestyle. I felt heard and if i called in the middle of the night in my post op care, he was always quick to get back with me and even on one of the visits came in on a weekend to help me. If i had to do this procedure again i absolutely would and wouldn't change a thing about my experience. Thanks to him im now able to live a healthier lifestyle.

        Dr Katsaros made me really comfortable, he insured me that I would be happy with my results. I consulted with 2 others doctors but no one made me as comfortable as Dr Katsaros. Dr Katsaros showed me pictures and results from other hernia repairs he had done and I believe hes the best! I am beyond happy with my results and my confident then I've ever been!

        my whole experience was good,i have no complaints

        Dr. Katsaros, is a very caring Doctor. I could see that his goal was to ensure that, he did a job that was well done. I was a bit worried about having the surgery, but after talking to the Doctor, and envisioning the outcome of my surgery, i got excited and looked forward to it. My post operation visits with the Doctor were very good he took the time to address all my questions, and made sure that my surgery was going to be a success and everything that i expected i have no regrets. I would do it again if i had to, with this Doctor. Also because he cares about his work and you, he gives you helpful nutrition information that will keep you looking your best.

        I travel far to see this doctor

        This is my second surgery with Dr. K. He is in Indiana and I live in Gurnee Il. He is worth the extra drive. I love the results on both my tummy tuck(first surgery ) and now my bbl and lipo. His staff is very professional and helpful. Loving my results.

        Dr. Katsaros was very thorough and answered any questions I had in depth. He took the time to explain what I needed to do to reach my goals and why they needed to be done. He took into account what has caused my weight gain and how I would need to lose it.

        Dr. K the BEST place around !!!

        Ive been coming to Dr. around 4 years hes wonderful i started off with my weight being 190, Im down to 139 and loving it!!! he has a GREAT bedside manor , explains everything in terms a normal person can understand. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !!! and the staff CC and Sam are amazing as well.
