Colonial Grand at Inverness Commons

I have a little over a month before I move in and I am already weary. I am moving from Louisiana and you would think knowing this the staff would be available to answer my concerns. Not so. I email them and no one answers. I call and they say they will email info, which never comes. I have to call them days after waiting for a response and they tell me "Oh. I received your email." Well why did you not answer it? On top of that they call me after I had set my move in date and made travel plans to tell me the tenant in my would be apartment does not want to move and I will be assigned a new apartment and move in date! I'm just moving here because this is the only place I found that would accept my puppy but once my lease is up I will probably be moving. I hope my experiences in person will be much better than my experiences so far. The place looked good for the price when I visited, and is in a great clean location, but the service could use some improvement.

Love the grounds , like the apartments. Management does not do what they say they will do to take care of issues. They will set a date and never call or show up. They also never answer the phone , you leave messages with no return calls . Pretty sad. Even when it may not be an issue perhaps just a question they should be readily available and return calls in a timely manner. Also, I have been told they will raise your rent up to 500 dollars more if you go month to month per a tenant who it happened to who was in the process of buying a home. Management is matter of fact when you come in office. Actually, Scott is the nicest of all the staff. The others act stuck up and to good for you to be talking to them. so, if you like snoody stuckup people you will love it here. Other than that the place is kept up very well minus the fact we had to look at an overhang damaged by a move truck for over two months before they got it fixed which made us look like the getto driving in. also note the police are out here almost everyweekend for one issue or another. I can could seeing police here every single weekend the past two months.

The apartments do not offer any move in specials because they say they are close to capacity. That is not true. Also when I wanted to renew my lease they tried to raise my rent and when I checked to see what the rent was for new tenants, I found out they lowered the rent for new tenants while raising mine. The apartments themselves are good to live in and the maintenance has been good. The management leaves much to be desired.
