East Jefferson High School provides educational and learning opportunities for students. It serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in math, English, science, social studies, music, and health and physical education. East Jefferson High School also provides instructive sessions related to fine arts, foreign languages, business technology and military education. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, softball, volleyball, swimming, soccer, cross-country, and track and field. It maintains a Spanish Honor Society and student council. East Jefferson High School also has performance groups that include dance, flag and twirling teams. The school is governed by Jefferson Parish Public School System, which additionally manages various elementary, middle and high schools.
