Devita's Restaurant

Friday night, my husband and I wanted to try something new. So we decided to visit this one small place that drove by many times. At first it looked cozy... There wer only two tables and us at the time. We ordered appetizers, bottle of sparkling water, salmon dinner and veggie pizza. Just keep in mind that there were only three tables, including ours, the appetizers and sparkling water took some time to come, but it was nothing compare to the actual dinner... We waited about 40-50 mins, in the empty restaurant. Ok that's fine, who knows maybe the chef is making a masterpiece in the kitchen and he needs time... Finally almost to an hour later we get our plates. The pizza was good, and the salmon looked promising. Only 2 mins later after my husband started on his salmon he realized that it wasn't cooked thru. It was almost raw on the inside. So he sends the dish back to the kitchen. No word from the waitress on what to expect next we decided to ask for the check head home. The check arrives and the salmon is still on it. My husband politely tells them that they forgot to remove the salmon from the check. In response, which came as huge shock, he was told they won't do that. The waitress said that "you ate it so NO..." He tells her NO he didn't and ask them to bring the plate back. She sees the plate and realizes she was wrong, about eating it. He say "How could I eat it when the damm thing is probably still breathing..." So then she replies "well, we can through it back on grill if you like"... To make the long story short, she was willing to loose a good customer over undercooked piece of fish and have a nerve to argue and still charge us for this horrible dinner experience. Needless to say we will never go back to this place again and defiantly tell all our friends what a terrible place this is.
