TERRIBLE Dental Office! As a Dental Assistant myself, I have never saw such terrible staff service, and dental work! If you want to get poor quality work done, and be misquoted with your insurance, this is the place to go! HORRIBLE! They filled my daughters BABY tooth, and wrote down on their charts the incorrect one, marked it as an ADULT tooth, and when she lost it, I looked at the tooth ...underneath the filling was still a TON of decay that wasn't cleaned out! DISGUSTING! My root canal was done by them, and not even a few days after it was done, the build up started breaking up, and I ended up going to Nampa Smiles an AMAZING office, to have it fixed! I would never, ever recommend this place to my worse enemy!

Hardly no one likes going to the dentist but Dr. Andrew has been taking care of my kids since we moved to Middleton years ago. He makes it fun and as painless as he can. My kids actually never mind going!

Oral Cancer Screening
During your initial visit, your dedicated dentist will conduct a comprehensive oral examination. This includes a detailed review of your medical and dental history, x-rays and intraoral photos, and, if necessary, study models. Our commitment to your well-being extends to an oral cancer screening, a thorough evaluation of your periodontal health, and a meticulous examination of your teeth and soft tissues.

Teeth Cleaning
Dental cleanings are crucial for optimal oral health. Plaque, the bacteria-laden film that coats teeth, is a primary contributor to gum disease and cavities. Regular cleanings not only remove plaque and calculus (tartar), but reinforce good oral hygiene practices, identify areas missed during brushing and flossing, and detect early signs of gingivitis, periodontitis, and cavities. If it has been a while since your last cleaning, a two or three-step cleaning may be necessary to address excessive plaque and calculus buildup or to clean deeper periodontal pockets.
Fluoride Treatment
Dental Sealants
Preventative dentistry is vital in maintaining oral health. Regular cleanings help remove plaque and calculus, reinforcing good oral hygiene and detecting early signs of gum disease and cavities. Fluoride, whether through water fluoridation or toothpaste, strengthens tooth enamel and reduces the risk of decay. Proper brushing and flossing, along with the use of interproximal brushes and other adjunctive measures like Waterpiks, help to thoroughly clean between teeth and in hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, sealants provide protection to the chewing surfaces of molars, preventing deep decay.

Fillings
Veneers
Veneers are thin layers, available in either composite or porcelain, used to correct shape, color, length, and other dental defects. Porcelain veneers are common and offer conservative, long-lasting solutions for various issues and bond strongly to the tooth's enamel. However, the suitability of veneers depends on your bite and individual circumstances. Alternatively, composite veneers are directly applied to the teeth, requiring minimal enamel preparation. While faster and more affordable, they can have limitations and are more prone to fading or chipping.
Crowns
Dental implants essentially consist of a titanium screw that is placed in the bone. The bone then grows around the implant and locks it in. After a period of healing, an abutment and crown is placed on the implant. Advantages of dental implants include the ability to floss around the tooth without special implements, the ability to replace a tooth without touching adjacent teeth, high success rates, and others. There are times that dental implants cannot be placed or have a lower success rate. These instances include a deficiency in the quality or quantity of bone (this can sometimes be remedied with bone grafts or sinus lifts), systemic diseases such as uncontrolled diabetes, insufficient space between teeth and others. Root Canal Treatment
Root canals, also known as endodontic treatments, are necessary when the nerve of a tooth is damaged or infected. The procedure removes the diseased pulp, cleans the canal thoroughly, and fills it to prevent recontamination. While there can be some discomfort during healing, the success rate of root canal therapy is high and preferable to preserve the natural tooth and prevent further complications. Regular dental check-ups and proper oral hygiene practices after treatment are essential for maintaining the health of the treated tooth.

Teeth Whitening
Bleaching is the process by which teeth that are discolored or stained are whitened using a hydrogen peroxide gel or like substance. Meridian and Middleton Dental offer custom tray whitening as a way to improve the look of your smile. Bleaching trays are made from models of your teeth. Custom trays are then fabricated to comfortably fit your mouth. Gel of various strengths is then applying every day or every other day, depending on if you have sensitivity. Cosmetic dentistry encompasses a range of procedures that enhance the appearance of your smile.
