Dr. Matthew Ezra Stone, DO

There are better qualified doctors in Middletown than Dr Vernon. If you are diabetic and elderly, be warned, we almost lost our mother due to his incompentce. Due to his inflated ego, he would not give a referral or order the right test for a diagnosis that we have been addressing for two years that would have helped my mother, We could have advoided pain and suffering. After getting a second opinion,he walked out during an office visit and told my mother to have the other doctor perscribed her meds. (Totally unprofessional) he only is concerned with his co-pay, will not allow you to ask questions without having to make another appt. After firing him, we got results within two months with our new dr that we tried to get with dr Vernon in two years. Dr Vernons diganosis was "it's your age". With our new doctor, the diganosis is real medical facts that need proper treatment. Something that should had been caught IF dr Vernon would have done his job more efficiently in the first place. I would NEVER recommend this dr to anyone after my mother was treated the way she was in her last visit with him!

If you want a caring Dr. He his GREAT. If you want in and out too bad ,this is a good person and cares. Takes time to listen to you ,and runs late, because he cares about his patients.

This doctor is not recommended and this comes from me being a patient with this office since 1980!! Dr. Matthew Vernon is not a good choice at all.

This doctor is caring, compassionate and truly cared about my health. Staff was great and office is very modern. Always able to get in the same day I need to see my doctor.
