I have been with maddox a long time and I have never had a problem with them....they are great people

I was in an auto accident in which I was ruled not at fault so I called my insurance agency and they told me to file a claim myself with the other driver's insurance so I did. After a difficult experience with the other insurance company that resulted in them trying to pay HALF of the estimated cost of repairs, I once again called my insurance agency and I insisted on speaking to Terry because, after all, he is my agent and this is the kind of stuff I pay him for right ? Wrong.I tried and failed to explain things to him and after repeatedly telling me to handle things on my own, he finally said that he can give me the 1-800 number and I can call the insurance company myself. I have done just that in the past and they refer me to my agent. After I explained this to him he literally started yelling at me, saying that he has told me four times what to do. It is worth it to pay a little more to have an agent that treats you with respect.
