Sloppy Jose's Mexican Restaurant

Unfortunately although the restaurant states that their kitchen is open until 10, they actually shut the kitchen down before 9:30 PM which is was huge inconvenience for my party... The owner was very nice however, but his waitstaff on this Tuesday night was very rude and disrespectful. Apparently they had a sign in the past that let the public know the kitchen closed a half hour early, but they do not anymore. So if you are looking to eat here, make sure you come at least a half hour before closing time!

We were looking forward to the night out, but didn't see what all the fuss was about. The food was okay, prices were fair which is probably why it was so crowded. Glad we had a reservation because the wait could have been terrible otherwise. Guacamole was highly recommended and was pretty good and fresh, but chips are extra cost. My husband wasn't' impressed by the lamb. Service was slow. If you don't order everything at the beginning you could be sitting there for a while just to order the entrees after the initial drink and appetizer order. They forgot our ceviche and we didn't get it until the main meal came, which by then we were full of chips and tortillas.

excellent, authentic southwest style food, awesome staff and decor! from the salsa to the daily specials you know everything was made here and very fresh. Great place for a margarita, over 35 tequilas!!!!
