We just moved to Milford NH right before school started this year 2017. My wife and I made sure to be proactive and reach out to the bus company directly and find out what bus our son was going to be on.

So yesterday was the first day of school for our 1st grader in a new town and the excitment turned to terror when he did not get off the bus stop nor was he even on the bus. As you can imagine we were beside ourselves.

We called the school first and they directed us to the bus company. We reached out and got zero empathy for our situation rather a absurd resposonse that this happened to multiple kids and happens ever year on the first few days of school????? Are you kidding me????

I want to first say the bus drivers themselves were so helpful in getting our son to us safe and sound and assuring us they had him on another bus. However their company insisted we were in the wrong. We checked the posted schedule online and printed it out for proof this was their mistake and to make matters worse they pass the blame to the school.

I am a rationale human being who can understand that mistakes happen and no one is perfect. However if you dare tell me that a company who transports the lives of children is ok with continued mistakes and does nothing to improve their systems then we have a problem.

My reason for sharing this horrific experience is that as a parent I will not accept the blaten disregard for taking responsibility of ones own actions from a company who transports the most important thing in my life.

I urge any parent who shared this frightening moment as we did to speak up as no parent should ever have to go through this. And to top it off to be pushed off like this is unacceptable and I WILL NOT accept this. Change must be made.
