X-rays
Oral Cancer Screening
There are many forms of oral cancer. It can involve the tongue, lips, throat and other parts of the mouth. In all cases, the disease involves an abnormal growth process, which if left untreated, can result in death. This is why we perform the oral cancer screening exam at each new patient exam and all subsequent recare exams.

Teeth Cleaning
A professional teeth cleaning at our dental office is the only way to remove tartar, which traps bacteria along the gum line and leads to infection of your gums (periodontal disease). With regular preventative teeth cleanings, you have a strong chance of keeping your natural teeth your whole life.
Fluoride Treatment
This will remove minor stains from your teeth, and provide a smooth surface on your teeth, making it difficult for bacteria to gather there. Dr. LaMarche typically recommends a fluoride treatment after your cleaning, to help strengthen the enamel of your teeth and guard them against attacks from decay.
Dental Sealants
To maintain optimal dental health, your child should be seen every six months unless otherwise instructed. Regular check-ups help your child stay cavity-free by emphasizing preventive measure and catching problems while they are still small and cared for easily. Regular cleanings removes plaque that build up on the teeth, cause gum infections and decay. Professional fluoride treatments strengthen the teeth and prevent decay. Oral hygiene instruction reinforces proper brushing and flossing techniques and this leads to a healthier mouth and the prevention of dental decay. Forum Dental Group will also provide an assessment of changes in the oral cavity and may suggest additional fluoride needs, sealants, or changes in dietary content.

Fillings

Resin Composite

While the doctor can repair some damaged teeth with dental fillings or dental bonding, many have received too much damage for these methods to prove effective. In these cases, the doctor turns to dental crowns as a solution. Dental crowns have several other uses, as well, and the doctor relies on them in many situations. When placing dental crowns for our patients, Dr. LaMarche generally recommends all porcelain crowns. These crowns look the most lifelike, and will blend seamlessly with just about any smile.
Restorative Dentistry
A Seattle native and living in Bothell, Dr. LaMarche, a Mill Creek dentist, has been delivering the highest quality of dentistry to the Greater Snohomish/King County community for over 40 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry where he where he was a member of the prestigious Honors Prosthodontic Program and graduated on the Dean’s list. Following Dental School, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal while serving as a dental officer in the US Army. After completing an internship in surgery, pedodontics (children’s dentistry) and restorative dentistry, he was the officer-in-charge of a dental facility providing care to 50,000 troops and their dependents while serving in Germany. He is a graduate of the Nobel BioCare Implant Residency, completed additional implant training with the HiOssen EIC program and completed both the University of the Pacific Cosmetic Continuum and the University of Washington Cosmetic Continuum. He began his Lake Stevens practice in 1979. From 2006 through 2010 spent time with his family and pursuing his passion as a nationally certified, high-performance-driving instructor for Porsche, BMW, Audi and Corvette Clubs. Dr. LaMarche enjoys spin cycle classes and rides with various bicycle clubs. In 2010 he formed Forum Dental Group.

Root Canal Treatment
Sometimes patients visit Dr. LaMarche with extensive damage done to their teeth, usually caused by tooth decay. The doctor may feel that a large filling in the area may weaken the tooth’s natural structure. This can lead to cracks or breaks in the tooth, and may even result in the patient needing a root canal treatment down the road.

Braces
ClearCorrect aligners are the effective way to treat moderate crowding of the front teeth whereas traditional metal or ceramic braces(fixed orthodontic) are used for more complex types of bite relationships.
