First of all I'd like to say I am quite surprised by all of these negative reviews. On Jan 1st 2016 I had noticed my dog Goose had been acting extremely strange. I took him to an emergency vet as it was new years day so everyone else was closed. They told me it'd be up to 5 thousand dollars to do surgery and my only other option was to put my dog down. I'm sure most people can understand what a horrifying thing that is to hear. My heart was breaking. A friend of a friend had told us about Dr. Nelson at Pet Central in minneapolis. (I am from central wisconsin.) I called Dr. Nelson and told him my situation. He said he would do the surgery and to call him when we were 30 minutes from Minneapolis (we had a 3 hour drive.) He met us at the clinic (not knowing who we were or being an established patient) and immediately performed surgery. He saved my dogs life for a fraction of the cost. Also,the girl who was on kennel checks that night didn't hesitate to help Dr. Nelson with this emergency surgery. While Dr. Nelson may be a man of little words he is still a man with a heart of gold. I will be returning to Minneapolis for Goose to have his sutures checked in 2 weeks and I plan to take both of my dogs there for all of there veterinary needs from now on, regardless of the fact that it is a 3 hour drive. I am truly grateful for Dr. Nelson and his staff! God bless you all!
